Project brief- To study the sociological changes in 1910-1920 and its impact on textile and fashion at those times.

Concept for the presentation technique- Handbags in the men's fashion, where it originated from, changed in 1914 when they started carrying around briefcases which were a lot more masculine than handbags woman started to carry around. This was when the clear divide was made between men and women's bag fashion and this is where people tend to get lost in thinking that handbags were always and originated from woman which is wrong. These briefcases the men carried also included folders for the new found pound note that replaced the gold sovereign.
